Shower valves mix the water that that flows onto you. They do this by controlling how much hot and cold water pass through the valve at any one time. You control this mixing from the levers, knobs and controls at the front of the shower valve. Most of our shower valves that we sell(except manual valves) are thermostatically mixed which means that even if someone turns a tap on elsewhere in the house while the shower is in use.
